Remote consultations (and also remote triage by both clinical and non-clinical staff) are common in contemporary primary care. Serious safety incidents are extremely rare, but much can be done to make these remote encounters even safer. This one-hour webinar, presented by two academic GPs and based on qualitative research in the UK, will use fictionalised case vignettes to draw out lessons about the system factors around remote care which can (if optimised) assure safety or (if not optimised) place vulnerable patients at risk.
