It will look at how PTSD shapes an individual's sense of self and their perspectives of the world around them. A review of vicarious traumatization will identify ways that providers can safeguard against being affected by their clients' experiences of trauma. A brief discussion on common treatments for PTSD and coping skills for high levels of anxiety will be held. Lastly, community resources for crisis support will be identified.
